Unsettled weather returns to rain on our parade: Met Éireann
LAST week gave us a few gorgeous, if fleeting, glimpses of summer.
But unfortunately if appears the widely unsettled weather that preceded the welcome burst of sunshine is back to rain on our parade.
Met Éireann said today will largely be a dull day in Kilkenny and throughout Leinster, with occasional showers.
In its latest forecast, the national forecaster said: “The weather forecast for Monday for Ireland is for it to be dull or cloudy with patchy outbreaks of light rain or drizzle. Top temperatures 17 to 21 degrees.”
Unfortunately, it doesn’t look as through things will improve in the short term at least.
Met Éireann has forecast more “drizzle and most” for tomorrow, but Kilkenny and South East should enjoy the best of the conditions, with “sunny spells” developing in this corner of the island and top temperatures of between 20 to 24 degrees.
