Vandals smash in front window of Kilkenny house as owner slept

A shocked Kilkenny city resident was woken from their sleep after vandals smashed in the front window of their home in the early hours of the morning.

Local gardai confirmed they are investigating a case of criminal danage following the incident at a property at The Haven on Newpark Drive.

A Garda source told KilkennyNow: “The front window of a house in The Haven was smashed shortly after 2.15am on Tuesday morning. The homeowner was awoken by a loud bang and discovered the window had been smashed.”
