WEATHER FORECAST: Sunny outlook for Kilkenny this week as short miserable spell ends
As we enter another week in partial lockdown, Kilkenny can at least look forward to another dry and sunny week to keep the blues at bay.
After a slightly miserable weekend weather-wise, Met Éireann has forecast a bright and sunny Spring few days ahead, with temperatures rising steadily as week goes on.
The national forecaster said today will be a dry day in Kilkenny and across the country, with highest temperatures of up to 17 degrees.
Tomorrow will also be dry and mostly sunny, again with highest temperatures of up to 17 degrees.
We’re in for another dry and sunny day on Wednesday, with temperatures rising to up to 18 degrees. And it’s a similar story for Thursday and Friday, mostly sunny with the mercury rising to as high as 19 degrees.
Early indications for next weekend are generally positive, albeit with slightly cooler temperatures with daytime highs in the mid, rather than high teens.
Met Éireann added: “Increasing risk of a few showers but still looking largely fine and dry overall.”
