Window of Kilkenny off-license smashed in during overnight attack
GARDAI are hunting for a vandal who smashed in the front window of an off-licence in Kilkenny city in the early hours of the morning.
The incident occured at the premises on the Castlecomer Road area of the city early on Wednesday morning.
A local Garda spokesperson confirmed: “The window of the premises was smashed in the early hours of Wednesday morning 11 Sept around 5am. No entry was gained.”
Gardaí have urged potential eyewitnesses or anyone who may have notices any suspicious behaviour in the area at the time to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000.
