Woman charged over assault of man who died at Kilkenny hospital
A woman has been charged in connection with the fatal assault of a man in Carlow on Monday night.
The man – has been identified locally as 30-year-old father-of-two Darren Quigley – was taken to St Luke’s General Hospital in Kilkenny, where he was pronounced dead.
Gardaí this evening confirmed a woman in her 30s “arrested in relation to this investigation has been charged”.
A Garda spokesperson said she
is expected to appear before a special sitting of Carlow District Court this evening at around 8pm.
