Young man kicked in the face in brutal city-centre attack
A MAN was rushed to hospital after he was violently assaulted in the city-centre.
The incident took place at St Mary’s Lane in the early hours of Sunday, October 28, when the victim, a 26-year-old male, was viciously kicked in the face. The young man was detained at St Luke’s Hospital. He suffered a number of broken facial bones as a result of the attack.
The assault took place at 1.15am. Gardaí are appealing to any witnesses to come forward and contact Kilkenny Garda Station on (056) 7775000.
