Youths suspected of stealing money from stall at Kilkenny festival
GARDAI are looking to talk to two young teenage girls and a young boy after money was stolen from a food stall at a Kilkenny festival.
The vendor at the recent Savour Kilkenny food festival left with a bad taste in their mouth after they realised someone had stolen some of their takings for the day.
Gardai were called to a beer stall on the Parade in Kilkenny just before 6pm on Sunday, after the owners – who are not from Kilkenny, noticed a sum of cash had disappeared from behind the counter.
Two teenage girls – roughly around 13 years-old, and a boy aged around eight were seen close to the stall at the time of what the gardai are calling a burglary. One of the girls was wearing a pink puffer coat.
Gardai would like to speak to the three youths in relation to the burglary and ask anyone with information to contact Kilkenny Garda station on 056 777 5000.
