3,500 homes without power in south Kilkenny
Close to 3,500 homes in south Kilkenny woke up to no power this morning as ESB Networks deal with a fault in the system.
The fault at a supply station in Rosbercon meant 3,481 homes in south Kilkenny were without power since 8am this morning, while another fault at the station in close by Shambough saw a further 13 homes without power.
A statement on ESB Network’s website said: “We apologise for the loss of supply. We are currently working to repair a fault affecting your premises and will restore power as quickly as possible.”
It is hoped power will be restored to all homes this morning.
