MARBLE CITY NIGHTS: Sinéad Connolly’s going-out guide to Kilkenny this weekend

SUMMER’S finally here, and the livin’ is easy …

So get out and enjoy the sun while it lasts and get your groove on because Kilkenny will be well and truly rocking this weekend.

The choices are endless, and varied.

You can pop in to Brogan’s Bar for their live music at 10pm tomorrow night and try their best-selling pink gin while you’re at it!

Meanwhile, across town Paris Texas has launched a new cocktail menu which can sample while bopping the night away to their DJ from 9:30pm tomorrow.

If you fancy something a bit different, head to John Cleere’s Bar and Theatre on Friday where the legendary John Spillane will take to the stage at 9:30pm. Tickets are €15. Also in John Cleere’s is Mick Flannery’s Album Launch on Sunday at 1pm. You can contact Rollercoaster Records on 056 776 3669 for tickets for both events.

And if you’re not interested in a quiet night in on Sunday, head to Ryan’s Bar for their Sunday Barbeque, followed by Deep Down Detox at 4:30pm.
