Investigation launched into death of young woman who died on New Year’s Eve
Gardai are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a young woman found dead on New Year’s Eve.
Shortly before 10pm yesterday evening gardai were made aware a young woman in her 20’s had died close to the centre of the town of Carrick-on-Suir.
Emergency services rushed to the scene which remains closed off while a Garda investigation takes place.
It is understood gardai are not treating the incident as suspicious.
