Patrick Street temporarily closed off to traffic after man knocked down
PATRICK Street in Kilkenny was a no-go area for traffic earlier today after a man was knocked down.
Gardai temporarily closed the busy street off to traffic after the man was struck by a vehicle at around lunchtime.
The incident resulted in some traffic congestion around the city centre.
An ambulance was called to the scene, but the man’s injuries were not serious and the street was re-opened to traffic a short time later.
