Kilkenny blogger joins top model Roz Purcell on Ireland’s first Dairy-Free Cook Off

A leading Kilkenny blogger has been chosen to take park in Ireland’s first-ever Dairy-Free Cook Off.

Laura Warren, who runs the website http://www.elitelivingnutrition.com which specialises in health and nutrition coaching, was one of five contestants chosen to take part in the event, which takes place in Airfield Estate Dundrum, Dublin, this Saturday.

The Dairy-Free Cook Off was launched by top model and nutritionist Roz Purcell, author of Half Hour Hero Zero, Natural Born Feeder. 

and the recently released No Fuss Vegan. Roz teamed up with Innocent Drinks the smoothie and dairy-free drink company, in the nationwide hunt for innovative dairy-free dishes.

A delighted Laura, who was nominated in the Best Nutrition Influencer category of the Beauty Blog Awards Ireland 2019, said she celebrated the news by having a “dance-off” with her three bulldogs, Harry, Homer and Harper in the living room.

She added: “It’s an honour to be chosen to take part in the Dairy-Free Cook Off. I’m a huge fan of Roz and I can’t wait to meet the other contestants on Saturday, and hopefully try not to burn the place down!”

The contestants’ dishes will be judged on their originality, creativity and skill level.

The winner will take home a trip for two to Ballymaloe, including an overnight stay, dinner and a cookery course. Their recipe will also be immortalised on Roz Purcell’s Natural Born Feeder, which has more than 100,000 followers.
