Heartbreak as Kilkenny healthcare workers die after contracting Covid-19
Two healthcare workers at St Luke’s General Hospital in Kilkenny have died after contracting Covid-19, the hospital confirmed last night.
A spokesperson for the Ireland East Hospital Group, which includes the general hospital in Kilkenny, announced two healthcare workers from St Luke’s had passed away after testing positive for Covid-19.
“We wish to give our sincere condolences to their family, friends and colleagues,” she said.
It is understood the health workers are a man and a woman. They passed within the last two days.
