Youths flout social distancing rules and hurl stones at Kilkenny woman’s home

Gardai are hunting three local youths who ignored social distancing protocols and hurled stones at a woman’s house in the city.

The woman was at her home in Dean Kavanagh Place at asrounbd 3pm on Wednesday when she suddenly heard loud banks.

She looked out and saw three youths were standing outside her house, in close proximity to each other, all throwing stones at her windows.

It is understood the youths are reported to be 15 or 16 years old.

Gardai have urged witnesses or anyone who knows anything about the incident to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000.
