Hot property: Brazen thieves steal boiler from home in Kilkenny village

Brazen thieves made off with a boiling cylinder after they broke into a house in county Kilkenny.

The copper boiling cylinder was stolen during the break-in at an unoccupied house in Powerstown, Goresbridge between 4.30pm on Monday and 8am the following day.

The padlocks on two shed doors were also broken, but nothing was taken from those.

Anyone with information about the theft or who noticed anything suspicious in the area around the time is asked to contact Goresbridge Garda station on 059 977 5202.
