Motorway madness: Driver clocked doing 175km/h on Kilkenny road, disqualified motorist has car seized
It’s been a busy 24 hours for gardai policing our roads.
The driver of this Peugeot 207 was caught red handed at a “routine checkpoint” on the M9 this morning when the Garda Mobility Device detected that he is currently disqualified.
A local Garda spokesperson confirmed court proceedings will follow, adding: “No licence, no excuse and no car.”
Meanwhile, another motorist was clocked doing 175km/h on the M9 by gardai in Urlingford yesterday. This driver is also due to appear in court soon.
