McCarthy (nee Purcell) (late of Castlecomer Road, Kilkenny) 10th September 2020, peacefully, at Gowran Abbey Nursing Home, Kitty, beloved wife of the late Paddy, sadly missed by her loving sister Breda (Australia), nephews Gordon and Redmond (UK), niece Claire (UK), cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.
In keeping with current government/HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings, Requiem Mass for Kitty will be celebrated on Saturday (12th Sept) at 10.30am in St. John’s Church, Kilkenny for family and close friends. (max of 50 people in Church). Funeral afterwards to St. Kieran’s Cemetery.

Son of the late Paddy and Mary (nee Brophy). Deeply regretted by his brother Joe, sisters Patsy (Power) Tramore, Mamie (Cleere) Freshford, Ann (Hughes) Freshford, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, relatives and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at his residence on Sunday from 12 o’clock with Rosary at 7 o’clock. Funeral Mass on Monday in St. Lachtain’s Church at 12 o’clock followed by burial in St. Lachtain’s Cemetery. In regard to current Government guidelines on face coverings and hand shaking, please observe.
