Kilkenny retail gets welcome boost as fashion chain reopens store in city
KILKENNY has received a welcome retail boost after the Vila clothing chain reopened its store in the city-centre.
The company’s shops on High Street in Kilkenny and Carlow has been closed for a fortnight, but they reopened their doors this week.
Vila employs five people at its Kilkenny store.
Aside from Kilkenny and Carlow, the company confirmed it has reopened four of its other 12 shops in Clonmel, Balbriggan, Sligo and the Whitewater Shopping Centre in Newbridge, Co Kildare.
