Young man in Kilkenny hospital after he was stabbed during assault
A young man is being treated at St Luke’s General Hospital after he was apparently stabbed during an assault.
The assault took place in Rathvilly in neighbouring Carlow on shortly before midnight yesterday.
A Garda spokesperson confirmed to KilkennyNow.ie: “Gardaí are investigating an alleged assault which occurred in Rathvilly, Co Carlow on the 5th November 2020 at approximately 11:45pm.
“A male in his 30s suffered an apparent stab wound and was taking to St Luke’s Hospital where his condition is described as non-life threatening.”
Gardai confirmed no arrests have yet been made, but added “investigations are ongoing”.
