Randall (98 Melville Heights, Kilkenny and formerly of Freshford, Co. Kilkenny) 12th March 2021, peacefully, at his home and in the loving care of his family, Alan, predeceased by his mother Josephine and sister Margaret, beloved husband of Gina and much loved father of Chris and Mark, sadly missed by his wife and sons, father Richard, brother Richard, father-in-law Jim Gill, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, niece, extended family, neighbours and friends.

In accordance with current Government/H.S.E. guidelines and in the interest of public health and the safety of our most vulnerable, a private funeral for immediate family will take place for Alan, with Requiem Mass celebrated on Sunday (14th March) at 11am in St. Joseph’s Church, Foulkstown. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Rainstown, Duckettsgrove, Carlow/Paulstown, Kilkenny

Paul Walsh of Rainstown, Duckettsgrove, Carlow and formerly of Shankill, Paulstown, Co. Kilkenny, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on March 11th, 2021, at his home.

Beloved husband of Mary, much loved father of Marie, Seamus, Ann and Yvonne, adored grandfather of James, Daniel, Eoin and Dara and cherished brother of Stasia, Paddy and the late Jim and Bill.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughters, grandchildren, sons-in-law Tom and Frankie, Helena, brother, sister, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, relatives and friends.

Due to government advice regarding public gatherings a private funeral will take place for family, in The Church of St John the Baptist, Grange, on Saturday at 2pm and will be followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. If neighbours wish to show their support to the family, they could stand outside their houses (while adhering to social distancing guidelines) as the funeral cortége leaves Paul’s house at 1.30pm approx, on his final journey to The Church of St John the Baptist, Grange.
