Van driver clocked almost three times over speed limit outside Kilkenny school
A van driver was clocked almost three times over the speed limit outside a local school.
The driver was one of several motorists caught speeding outside schools in Kilkenny in recent days.
A local Garda spokesperson confirmed: “Kilkenny Roads Policing Units continue to conduct speed checks, focusing on area’s outside of schools over last few days. Thank you to the majority of motorists who obeyed the speed limits. Unfortunately there were a number of detections in these areas including this van who drove at 86kph in the 30kph at a school during school time.”
Kilkenny gardai again urged motorists to slow down and obey speed limits and avoid unnecessary deaths and injuries on our roads.
