Crime gang breaks into Kilkenny depot and makes off with 1.6-ton digger
A criminal gang broke into a Kilkenny premises and made off with a 1.6-ton excavator.
Local gardai confirmed the theft occurred at a depot in Hebron Industrial Estate sometime between Friday, October 8 and Tuesday, October 12.
A Garda spokesperson told KilkennyNow: “A padlocked gate was cut in order to gain access. Gardaí in Kilkenny are appealing to anyone who may be offered the item for sale or who may have noticed suspicious activity in the area to contact local Garda Station.”
