Five top range bikes and power tools stolen during break-in at Kilkenny home
Five valuable bicycles and power tools were stolen after burglars broke into a home near Kilkenny city.
The bikes were taken from a domestic garage on a property at Kirwin’s Inch, Dunmore sometime between 9.30am and 1.30pm on Friday.
The thieves forced open a lock on the garage door to gain entry.
A local Garda spokesperson told KilkennyNow: “Five bicycles were taken, three racing bikes and two mountain bikes. A number of tools were also taken – a Loncin generator, a Flex battery drill, a SWA hydraulic crimping tool, a Honda generator and a Bosch kango hammer.”
The racing bikes include a black Cervelo, a white and blue Zanatta and a red and white Trigon bicycle.
The mountain bikes include a black Cube bicycle and a grey and white Giant bike.
Garda have asked potential witnesses or anyone with information about the robbery to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000.
