A local Garda spokesperson confirmed gardai are investigating the theft of four trees from the side of a road.

The Cherry Blossom trees were taken from the side of the Ring Road at Paulstown, which links up with the M9 motorway, sometime between 5pm last Thursday, May 30 and 5pm on Sunday, May 30.

The trees were planted by the local development association last year.
