2,000 Kilkenny homes wake up to no power
Thousands of people have been affected by a power outage in county Kilkenny this morning.
Over 2,000 homes in Thomastown and the surrounding area are without power at the moment.
A large fault in the supply was discovered by the ESB shortly after 7am.
Crews are at the site of the fault and are working on rectifying the issues.
It is hoped to have the service back by 11am.
