Kilkenny jobs fair to target people home for Christmas
A jobs exhibition aimed at Kilkenny people who will come home for Christmas will promote hundreds of jobs and an array of positions available to job seekers locally.
The Kilkenny Local Enterprise Office (LEO) is hosting the event, showcasing the scale and the breadth of job opportunities available in Kilkenny, in an effort to attract local skilled emigrants back to Kilkenny.
The event will take place in Kilkenny’s Medieval Mile Museum on December 28.
It is expected that people who return home to their families for Christmas will be able to talk with local employers, from small and medium enterprises to the numerous multinationals based in Kilkenny, who have vacant posts they need to fill urgently.
Organisers are setting up a social media campaign targetting Kilkenny people, highlighting the event and the roles on offer.
