ALERT: Kilkenny emergency services rush to scene of accident, car bursts into flames on M9
EMERGENCY services are at the scene of a road accident in South Kilkenny.
Fire units from Thomastown rushed to the scene on the M9 Motorway at around 9.30am this morning after a vehicle burst into flames.
The invident occurred just outside Waterford city near the M9/N9 roundabout northbound between Junction 12 at Grannagh and Junction 11 at Mullinavat.
Traffic northbound has been reduced to a single lane.
