ALERT: Thunderstorm warning issued for Kilkenny
A Status Yellow thunderstorm warning for Kilkenny and the rest of the country has been issued for tomorrow.
Met Éireann has forecast thundery spells of rain with the risk of lightning and hail.
It warned this will lead to locailsed flooding and hazardous driving conditions.
The warning will be in effect from 6am tomorrow and will remain in place until 7pm.
