Average graduate in Kilkenny and South East now earning €33,710: new report
A NEW report has again highlighted the attractiveness of Kilkenny and the South East for companies looking to set up in the region.
The study by the South East Economic Monitor reveal graduate salaries in the region (€33,710) are 1.3% lower than in Dublin (€34,153) – a different of around €440 per year.
This comes on top of the cost-of-living benefits of living and working in the South East, where average annual rents (€11,616) are 52% lower than in the capital (€24,348).
The report was prepared by academics from the Waterford Institute of Technology, led by Dr Ray Griffin.
