Whisper it, but we could actually see a bit of sunshine returning to Kilkenny before the weekend’s out, according to Met Éireann.
Today will start off with sunny spells before scattered showers break out with temperatures between 13 to 17 degrees.
Meanwhile, tonight will see dry and long clear spells, but it will be a bit chilly for early July with lowest temperatures between 4 to 9 degrees with light northerly breezes.
Saturday will be a largely dry day with a mix of cloud and some sunny spells, and just isolated light showers.
Temperatures will creep up between 16 to 20 degrees with just light westerly breezes and it will be generally dry overnight with clear spells, and temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees.
Sunday looks like it will be mainly dry and mild across much of Munster and Leinster with sunny spells and temperatures of 17 to 21.
