Bike and power tools stolen during break-in at Kilkenny house

Thieves break into a house property in the city and made off with a bicycle and valuable power tools.

Gardai said the theft occurred at a “domestic garage” in the Flagmount area sometime between 7.30pm on Thursday and 8pm on Friday.

They estimate the stolen goods are valued at around €1,000.

A local Garda source told KilkennyNow: “A number of items were taken – a white Raleigh bicycle, a red Kawasaki hedge cutter, an Orange Tananka strimmer and a grey Weibang lawn mower

“Gardaí are asking anyone with information or anyone who is offered any of these items for sale to contact Kilkenny Garda Station.”
