WCFE – Waterford College of Further Education Annual Health Week
WCFE held its annual Health Week recently. Three full days of events were open to both staff and students and included seminars, talks, yoga, meditation, sound healing, circuit training and overall good fun. WCFE prioritises the wellbeing of its staff and students and Health Week gives prominence to health and wellness for the college community. Topics included mental health, trans life, sexual health and wellbeing.
This year, even more students took part in the organisation of the events, with many training sessions offered by students themselves. Yoga, meditation and sound healing were provided by Michelle Daly at soundescape.ie
The week’s events were organised by the Student Council of WCFE, in conjunction with Tina Hunt, who timetabled the entire event.
