Boy’s new bike stolen from county Kilkenny GAA grounds

A boy’s new bicycle which was parked at a county Kilkenny GAA grounds was stolen just ahead of the Bank Holiday weekend.

The owner left his bike outside the GAA complex in Mooncoin at 4pm last Thursday, July 30. But when he went to collect the bike at midday on Saturday it was nowhere to be seen.

The bike is a grey Crossfire Carerra Hybrid with blue writing on the crossbar. Local gardai said it is only a couple of months old and is valued at around €300.

Anyone with information about the theft or who may be offered a bike matching the above description is asked to contact Mooncoin Garda Station on 051 895 122.
