Gang of youths break teenager’s jaw during vicious assault in Kilkenny city
A TEENAGE boy was brutally assaulted by a gang of youths in Kilkenny city yesterday.
The shocking assault took place in the New Orchard Road area at around 4.45pm.
A local Garda spokesperson confirmed the victim suffered cuts and bruises, and a broken jaw, after he was attacked by “a group of youths”.
Kilkenny gardai are urging potential eyewitnesses or cars that may have dashcam footage of the incident to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000.
