BREAKING: Kieran Greene (35) found guilty of murdering Kilkenny grandmother Patricia O’Connor
A 35-year-old man has been found guilty of murdering a Kilkenny woman, whose body was dismembered and spread around the Wicklow Mountains in 2017.
Kieran Greene was on trial in Central Criminal Court for the murder of Patricia O’Connor, the mother of his then partner, Louise and now faces a mandatory life sentence.
Patricia O’Connor (nee Cooke), a 62-year-old retired nurse, originally from Windgap was murdered at her home in Rathfarnham on May 29, 2017.
Mrs O’Connor was reported missing on June 1, 2017 and a number of her body parts, including her head and hands, were discovered in nine locations spread over 30km area in the Wicklow mountains later that month.
