Kilkenny among 248 new cases of virus as three further deaths confirmed

A further three people have died after contracting the coronavirus as 248 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed this evening.

It brings the overall death toll as a result of the virus to 2,123. There has been now been 75,756 confirmed cases of Covid-19 across the country, according to the latest daily briefing from the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET).

The breakdown of the latest cases is as follow: 99 are in Dublin, 21 in Louth, 16 in Limerick,15 in Meath, 13 in Cavan with the remaining 83 cases spread across 20 other counties including seven new infections in Kilkenny.
