BREAKING: Kilkenny film lands Oscar nomination
The critically acclaimed Kilkenny animation feature Wolfwalkers has been nominated for an Oscar.
Wolfwalkers tells the story of a young apprentice hunter and her father as they journey to Ireland to help wipe out the last wolf pack. But everything changes when she befriends a free-spirited girl from a mysterious tribe rumoured to transform into wolves by night.
Wolfwalkers, which was made by multi-award winning Cartoon Saloon team in Kilkenny, is up against Onward, Over the Moon, A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon, and Soulm in the Animated Feature Film category of this year’s Academy Awards.
