Burglar breaks into county Kilkenny house, then smashes up toilet and shower

BURGLAR broke into an unoccupied house in Freshford and caused extensive criminal damage to the property.

The break-in at Pinewood Cottage was reported to gardai at around 1pm last Friday.

Officers arrived at the house to discover the burglar had gained entry to the property via the back door, which was damaged.

A Garda source told KilkennyNow.ie a number of “sanitary items”, including a toilet and shower, had been damaged.
