Burglar breaks into home in Kilkenny village after forcing back window open

Gardai are investigating another break-in at a county Kilkenny village.

The latest incident occurred at a house in Johnstown sometime between 7.20pm and 8.20pm last Saturday, February 22.

A local Garda spokesperson confirmed the thief gained entry to the property by forcing a back window open.

However, the burglar left empty handed and nothing was reported stolen.

Gardai have urged potential eyewitnesses or anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area at the time to contact Urlingford Garda Station on 056 883 1133.
