Burglar forced open back door of house in Kilkenny city
A burglar broke into a house in Kilkenny city and searched through rooms before fleeing the scene.
The break-in occurred on Hollybank Drive on the Waterford Road sometime 9am and 6.30pm on Wednesday.
A Garda source told KilkennyNow a rear door was forced open and some rooms were disturbed, but nothing was taken.
Gardaí have asked anyone who may have noticed suspicious activity in the area at the time to contact Kilkenny Garda Station.
