Burglars break into two homes in Kilkenny village on same day

Gardai are investigating two burglaries at separate homes in a Kilkenny village on the same day.

The first break-in occurred at a house in Weatherstown, Glenmore sometime between 8am and 8pm on Friday. Gardai confirmed a sum of cash, clothing and a Huawei mobile phone were taken.

The second burglary occurred in the Flemingstown area of Glenmore sometime between 9pm on Friday and 9.35am on Saturday morning. Gardai confirmed a bedroom window was forced open in order to gain entry and, gain, items of clothing were taken.

Witnesses or anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area at the time is asked to contact Glenmore Garda Station.
