Burglars make off with huge haul of valuable goods after breaking into Kilkenny farm

Burglars broke into a farm yard and made off with a large haul of power tools and goods.

A double-axel for a Ifor Williams trailer was also stolen during the break-in, which occurred at a farm in Lower Grange, Goresbridge, sometime between 6pm on Tuesday and 9am the following morning.

A Garda spokesperson confirmed: “A double axel 12×6 Ifor Williams trailer was taken along with a large amount of electrical tools including a multi coloured Honda generator/welder, a Honda petrol borer, a blue Makita electric grinder, a blue Makita power drill and two jack hammers.”

Gardai have urged anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area at the time – or if you have been offered any of the above goods for sale – to contact Thomastown Garda Station.
