Calf rustled from farm in rural Kilkenny, gardai appeal for witnesses
A calf has been stolen from a farm in county Kilkenny.
The theft occurred at a farmyard in Tullahought sometime between 9.30pm last Friday and 8am the following morning.
A local Garda source told KilkennyNow.ie the farmer noticed the black Angus calf was missing when he went to check on the herd and new arrivals on Saturday morning.
They said the thieves would have required appropriate transport, possibly a trailer, to move the animal.
Potential witnesses or anyone who may have noticed anything suspicious in the area at that time is asked to contact Thomastown Garda Station on 056 775 4150.
