Class news: Kilkenny school gets green light for much-needed extension
A national school in a rural Kilkenny has been granted permission to build a much needed extension for its growing student numbers.
Kilkenny County Council has given the go-ahead to Fr Dan Cavanagh, Chairperson of the Board of Management of Listerlin National School for their ambitious plans.
The new extension will see the construction of a new classroom, new toilets and a new corridor linking the extension to the existing building.
The mixed-gender school near Tullogher caters for around 135 students and currently has four classrooms.
