Daylight robbery: Ride-on mower stolen from Kilkenny farm
An expensive ride-on mower was stolen during a brazen daylight burglary at a property in county Kilkenny.
The theft occurred at a farm in Danesfort between 11am and 6pm on Thursday.
The owners came home to find the gates into the farmyard were wide open and the locks had gone missing.
On inspecting the farmyard further, the owner discovered another lock on the shed door containing the Orange Husqvarna ride-on mower had been cut, and the mower stolen.
It is believed the burglars would have need transport to move the mower.
