Cocaine bust in Kilkenny city-centre: Man (30s) arrested during Garda raid on house
A Kilkenny man found in possession of €3,000 worth of cocaine ready for sale will appear in court soon.
He was arrested yesterday after local gardai swooped on a house in the city-centre yesterday evening as part of a planned operation.
A quantity of cocaine with a street value of €3,000 were seized in the search.
A man in his early 30s was arrested at the scene. He was taken to Kilkenny Garda Station where he was charged with having cocaine for sale and supply.
He is due to appear at a sitting of Kilkenny District Court in the near future.
