Man arrested over county Kilkenny hit-and-run which left victim with life-changing injuries

A man has been arrested in relation to a serious hit-and-run incident in county Kilkenny which has left the victim with life-changing injuries.

The incident occurred on the main Callan to Kilkenny Road at Ballymack Cross at around 1.10am last Saturday morning.

Two male pedestrians were out walking when a car suddenly struck one of them, causing serious head and leg injuries which a local Garda spokesperson has described as “lifechanging”.
