Kilkenny GAA club gets green light for big expansion plans
A county Kilkenny GAA club has been given the green light for ambitious plans to more than double the size of its clubhouse.
Kilkenny County Council has given Graiguenamanagh GAA permission to build an extension to its current dressing rooms at their pitch in Harristown.
The new two-storey building will see the club double the number of dressing rooms available to them from two to four. A gym will also be constructed as part of the development.
The new 234msq extension will create clubhouse of more than 400msq containing four physio rooms, four bathroom/ showers, new dressing rooms, a disabled toilet, a meeting room, a kitchen and storage facilities.
