COVID-19 UPDATE: Total hits 292 as 69 new cases confirmed in Republic
There are now 292 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Republic of Ireland after 69 people tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
The 69 new cases includes 29 males and 40 females, 48 are in the east of the country, 13 are in the south, five are in north west and three are in the west.
In the North, 10 new cases were confirmed bringing the total to 62 overall there, meaning there are now 354 cases on the island of Ireland.
So far, 6,636 tests have been conducted with 30,000 testing kits due to be delivered here on Thursday.
