Cycle of crime continues: More bikes stolen in Kilkenny city in recent days

The recent spate of bicycle thefts in Kilkenny city shows no signs of slowing down as a further two bikes have been reported stolen in recent days.

A Specialized Hybrid bicycle was stolen from outside a front door of a house in St Enda’s on the Castlecomer Road in the city between 10.30pm on Friday night and 7.30am Saturday morning.

The bike is is grey and yellow and has flat handlebars. The spokes are a distinctive yellow colour, and the bike had mudguards on both wheels.

In a second incident, an Apollo Craze junior mountain bike was stolen from Circular Road area of Kilkenny City over the weekend.

The distinctive grey and white bike has large 24″ wheels and has the word “Craze” emblazoned on the frame.
